Greetings Brightwood Families!

I started in Springfield Schools as a student teacher from Westfield State University. After that experience, I knew that Springfield was where I wanted to start my teaching career and where I wanted to call home.

A proud member of the Brightwood family for 5 years, I am in my second year as Principal. In my new position, I have the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the school. Bringing our families together and building a strong school community that is grounded in equity and inclusion is my primary focus.

At Brightwood, we are committed to nurturing not only the academic growth of your children but also their development into responsible and productive world citizens. As partners in this journey, your involvement plays a crucial role in shaping their character and preparing them for a successful future. We believe that instilling values such as respect, empathy, and perseverance is as important as imparting knowledge. By encouraging open discussions at home, fostering a sense of community service, and setting examples of integrity, you can greatly contribute to their holistic growth. Together, we can empower them to become individuals who not only excel academically but also make positive contributions to society.

Thank you for entrusting your children’s education to us. On behalf of the entire Brightwood Staff, we look forward to working together with you to make this a remarkable year.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Danielle Delgado, Principal
