I am thrilled to join the Brightwood family. Having been born and raised in Springfield, I take great pride in calling it my home. My journey into education began at the age of fourteen when I worked as a summer Junior Paraprofessional for the MASS Migrant Program, which ignited my passion for teaching.

 

Following my college education, I embarked on my teaching career in Springfield. My unwavering commitment to the students of our city has spanned over two decades.

 

I strongly believe that collaboration, effective communication, and respectful interactions within the school community are essential for us to:

 

- comprehend the needs of the whole child

- support academic aspirations

- assist families and guardians

 

I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate with you and the Brightwood faculty and staff. Together we can create enriching academic and social experiences for our students with the purpose of helping them prepare for their future careers and higher education paths.
